Teiana Masoe, 9, performs a hula while her father, Kaniela Masoe, plays the song “Holo Holo Ka’a” on Friday afternoon at First Hawaiian Bank in Kahului. The entertainment and decorations adorning the branch were in honor of the bank’s 160th anniversary Friday. First Hawaiian Bank was founded in 1858 by Charles Reed Bishop. Bishop’s wife, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, founded Kamehameha Schools through her estate in 1887.

SECOND PHOTO: First Hawaiian Bank Senior Vice President and Regional Manager Brian Kakihara said the staff started decorating Tuesday evening. “It looks like Iolani Palace,” he said. “I am just impressed with everybody’s spirit in decorating this large branch.”

THIRD PHOTO: Aspiring hula dancer Ella Sellers, 3, watches Teiana Masoe’s performance Friday along with her dad, David Sellers.
