Village Cinema at Meridian plans reopening August 21

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Village Cinema at the Village in Meridian said Wednesday it plans on reopening Aug. 21.

"The Village Cinema will reopen with enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols in place to assure our customer’s confidence and peace of mind that the Village at Meridian is truly a safe environment," the theater said.

The cinemas will offer $5 for adults and $3 for children's tickets every day for all re-released classic hits.

There will also be a $7.50 all-day pass available for those interested in an all-day marathon of classic movies. All new film releases will be subject to regular ticket pricing.

  • Antebellum on August 21st
  • The New Mutants on August 28th
  • Tenet on September 3rd
  • Bill & Ted Face the Music on September 1st
  • The King’s Man on September 18th
  • Wonder Woman 1984 on Oct. 2nd
  • Black Widow on Nov. 6th,
  • No Time to Die and Soul on Nov. 20th.
