The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) was founded in 1895 and has grown to become one of the foremost social science universities in the world. The school aims to provide students with the highest quality education in the social sciences field. LSE alumni and faculty members have been awarded 18 Nobel Prizes in economics, peace and literature, and at least 34 past or present world leaders have come from the School. The LSE Summer School invites you to experience all that LSE has to offer, including top flight teaching, modern academic facilities, in the heart of London. The courses you enrol on at the Summer School are based on typical LSE undergraduate courses, and will be taught to the same high standard. Our faculty are experts in their chosen fields and are committed to teaching with enthusiasm and contemporary relevance. You will be studying with the guidance of lecturers who are actively involved in academic research and many have connections that go beyond the university, as they use their work to influence government policy and advise companies worldwide. There are two study options for Summer School this year: Blended Learning on campus in London, and Remote Learning. We offer this flexibility to allow as many students as possible to access our teaching. Each study mode will deliver 54 hours contact time, usually 18 hours per week over 3 weeks. Enhance your education with the LSE this summer; a world-class institution for the social sciences.
