1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mark II Drophead Coup

One of the rarest cars in the DB2 lineup is the Mark II Drophead Coupé. Less than 20 of these cars were made alongside the updated Mark II with the more powerful engine, rear tail fins and Minx taillights.

1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mark II Drophead Coupé

1956 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mk II Drop Head Coupe AM/300/1137 – did not sell for $210,000 First export Drophead Coupe of six in left-hand drive. Recommissioned by Aston in March 1965 and subsequently sold to Belgium. Restored in 2002 in Old English White over red leather interior. Described as a Drop Head Coupe with all the unique features that were characteristic of these charming early Astons Martins, such as the small tailfins, wooden veneers and classic Smiths instruments.
